It is a Saturday afternoon, the entire house has come down with a 'bug'...Olivia will not nap. No matter how long she is rocked, she will not give in.
Exhaustion makes us bring her into our bed for a family nap time.
We turn the tv on (yes, the sickness was that bad). Being a Saturday afternoon I guessed curling or bobsledding (sp?) would be on...nope, the other winter sport - figure skating.
The smooth gliding of the skaters, the spins, the jumps, seem to hit a nerve in Olivia.
She hopped up and started mimicing (sp?) the skater...extremely well I might add. She spun on our bed, putting her arm up, pretending to smoothly skate along...at one point she even lifted one leg behind her and managed to stay balanced?!
Hmmm...could this be a sign? Could this be Olivia's calling?
